Honest Publishing at Lodestar Festival
Honest Publishing is proud to announce that we’ll be appearing at this year’s Lodestar festival, happening September 2nd – September 4th in the gloriously rural Cambridgeshire countryside. Here we shall be donning our Wellington boots and maybe (we are) having a book stall, where you can buy our range of independent literature.
Like alternative books? How about an alternative festival? Lodestar is an excellent choice for all those looking for a more chilled festival experience. Fed up with stomping for miles to find you missed your favourite band, or camping in the only space left (the toilets)? At Lodestar you’ll find a spacious, relaxed atmosphere, full of good people and great bands, and we’re thoroughly looking forward to it.
It’s also one of the best deals around out of this summer’s festival line-up. If you use discount code CP3 you can claim £15 off the ticket price of £55, making it only £40 for a full weekend ticket, including camping – less than a coffee on a train from London to Bristol Temple Meads. Get in quick!
Our very own Bogdan Tiganov will be there, signing copies of his acclaimed book The Wooden Tongue Speaks, and maybe even giving a reading or two, if he reads this blog post and feels obliged.
Appearing alongside Honest Publishing at this year’s festival will be artists such as The Datsuns, The Magic Numbers, Cage the Elephant and CSS. But we fully understand if don’t have time to watch them, given that you’ll already have purchased a copy of Paul Kavanagh‘s The Killing of a Bank Manager and be fully submerged in this anti-establishment yarn, whilst lying in the grass sipping a WKD Blue, or some other drink for young persons.
Please come along, say hello, and have a jolly old time. We will. Visit the Lodestar website: www.lodestarfestival.com.
